Modì™ Apples 2018 Season Starts Strong

Today, one of the most prominent apples which is establishing its presence for consumers is the Modì™ Apple.

 

The 2018 season for Modi™ witnessed the launch of the first National Sales program for Modi™ Apples, with Freshmax now supplying across Australia since the beginning of this month. With an early market entry, this premium apple variety is strengthening its position in the market with its crisp, crunchy flavor and superb rich red colour.

“Sales figures are tracking well and we have already seen a significant increase in demand compared to the previous season,” says William Snell GM Sales, Freshmax. The success of the variety is a credit to the work of the Modi™ grower group who have invested in this variety and spend countless hours managing their crops. “The colour, flavour and crunch of Modi™ makes it stand out to the consumers and Freshmax and our grower partners are thrilled to be giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy such a great apple” – Snell adds.

Turnbull Bros. Orchards owner Chris Turnbull says “When I first tasted Modi apples from the test trees in Ardmona, I was blown away by its quality. The 2018 Modi crop is presenting well with beautiful red colour and great eating quality. Consumers love the texture and flavor and the very idea that I can create produce of that quality is what drives me.”

The 2018 marketing campaign of Modi™ Apples kicked off with branding across outdoor media channels in Sydney and Melbourne. The campaign has also generated great momentum by collaborating with Run for the Kids – Victoria’s largest mass-participation fun run primarily aimed to raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
