Freshmax maintains CSR priority
Freshmax shows continued support for the Coastguard and Grocery Charity Ball
Freshmax was recently visited by Grocery Charity Ball Trustees, Scott McKay and Don Graham, along with the beneficiary from this year’s Ball, Coastguard Auckland. Their visit was to present David Smith, Freshmax Group Chairman, with a certificate of thanks for the financial contribution Freshmax made to this year’s Grocery Charity Ball, held at the Langham; Freshmax has supported the event since it started in 2004.
A total of $200,000 was raised at the event to support the training of Coastguard volunteers. A portion of the funds raised was also sent to Kaikoura Coastguard to help fund the ongoing relief work following the recent earthquake in the region.
