With less than 3 weeks until the Freshmax New Zealand export cherry program gets underway, there is growing customer anticipation for Lani™ cherry.
“Lani™ has spearheaded our New Zealand Cherry campaign for the past 3 years and is set to excite customers yet again this season” says Tracey Burns, Export Manager.
Spring weather has been kind to NZ cherries this year, with the Lani™ shaping up to have excellent flavour right from the outset, along with its notoriously good sizing and texture. Soon after Lani™ harvest is complete, Starletta™ will begin. “As Freshmax’s premium white flesh cherry brand, Starletta™ gives key customers a wow factor” says Burns. This is achieved via the brand’s superior red and white flesh varieties that are available
The Freshmax Group has invested heavily in intellectual property (IP) over the past 15 years, with it now underpinning a number of the business’s core categories. “We see intellectual property and licensed varieties as fundamental to our category approach, whether we are look domestically or internationally. In this vein, we continue to align ourselves with likeminded customers and growers and gain elevated traction in a crowded marketplace.” Says Simon Gillett, GM IP and Category.
